Dark green living room with sofa, wooden sideboard and television unit

A Characterful Cottage in Surrey

Designer: Tasha Teixeira

Natural materials, soft colour and layered textures bring warmth and balance to this light-filled cottage interior.

The Living Space

Light and Character

This open-plan living space celebrates the home’s architectural features, from exposed beams to the dramatic roof glazing that fills the room with natural light. A rich green accent wall adds depth and contrast, while warm woods, soft textiles and relaxed upholstery create a welcoming and comfortable setting that highlights the cottage’s character.

The Bedroom

Calm and Restful

The bedroom was designed to feel calm and inviting, using a soft neutral palette layered with natural textures and subtle tonal colour.

Warm timber furniture, upholstered details and considered accessories bring a sense of balance and comfort, creating a restful space that complements the home’s relaxed character.
