The story of Venjakob began in 1935, founded by master carpenter Alfons Venjakob. Guided by his vision to craft furniture worthy of the world, Alfons established a legacy defined by exceptional craftsmanship and unwavering quality.

The challenges of the Second World War brought upheaval, but it was the steadfast leadership of Josefine Venjakob that steered the company through turbulent times. A strong and determined figure, she upheld the values that would define Venjakob for generations.

In 1958, Alfons’s son, Siegfried Venjakob, joined the company and took the helm in 1965, ensuring that the founding philosophy — craftsmanship decides! — remained at the heart of everything Venjakob created. This timeless credo has been passed down through the generations and continues to shape the company’s ethos today and into the future.

By 2014, a team of 190 skilled furniture artisans was crafting chairs, armchairs, coffee tables, dining tables, and complete living and dining room collections across a 35,000 m² facility. Every piece embodies inspiring design and endearing quality, evoking emotion and a profound connection to the art of furniture making.
