Curved dark green velvet sofa with round wooden coffee table in a modern living room

A Contemporary Home in Knutsford

Designer: Alison Westaby

Layered textures, natural materials and bespoke furniture bring warmth and sculptural form to these thoughtfully designed living spaces.

The Living Room

A Sculptural Focal Point

At the heart of the lounge sits a bespoke curved sofa, designed specifically for the space, creating a sculptural focal point that softens the room’s architecture. Its sweeping form anchors the layout while encouraging a relaxed flow through the space.

A carefully selected mural and considered paint palette introduce depth and atmosphere, while natural textures and warm materials bring balance to this calm, light-filled space.

The Snug

A Layered Retreat

Designed as a more intimate space within the home, the snug embraces rich colour, panelled walls and tactile fabrics to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

A custom-sized sofa and coordinating footstool, tailored to the room, shape the seating area. Upholstered in a bold patterned fabric, the footstool introduces a striking focal point while adding texture and personality to the space.
