Osborne
Queen Victoria and Prince Albert bought the Osborne estate on the Isle of Wight in 1845, which became their family home by the sea. You’ll find Queen Victoria’s bedroom at Osborne preserved exactly as she enjoyed it over 150 years ago. Its remarkable details, richly decorated with an exquisite rose chintz pattern, have inspired the rich floral tapestry of the Rosa collection.
Inspiration
Inspired by the heritage patterns found at Osborne, our Rosa pattern is hand-painted with a romantic and contemporary flair. The English rose is synonymous with Queen Victoria, you’ll find similar rose-patterned textiles preserved in Queen Victoria’s bedroom.
Taking note from traditional English upholstery techniques, Rosa is designed with rolled arms and a bordered front.
