The Role: The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and flexible Porter for our Middlesbrough Warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
• The movement and storage of furniture, in and out of the warehouse.
• Unloading and loading vehicles securely and correctly
• Safely storing furniture on racking systems
• Opening and wrapping furniture
• Assembling items of furniture (including flat pack)
• Rotating stock
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
• Correct and safe use of lifting and handling equipment to move furniture
• Driving forklift truck/cherry picker
• Driving company vehicles when authorised
• Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations
• Other reasonable duties within the job holder’s capabilities
Knowledge and Experience:
• A flexible approach
• Able to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team
• A full driving license
