The Role: The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation. This role will involve heavy lifting.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and flexible Polisher for our Blaydon Warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identifying defects in furniture prior to despatch and carrying out suitable repairs where necessary
• Unpack furniture and inspect the quality of this prior to loading
• Reassemble furniture
• Maintain quality records in accordance with quality standards
• Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations
• Other reasonable duties within the job holder’s capabilities
Knowledge and Experience:
• You must be self-motivated and hardworking
• Excellent communication skills
• A flexible approach to working hours including being able to work overtime
• Able to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team
