Driver – HGV Class 1

Middlesbrough Warehouse

The Role:
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and flexible HGV Class 1 Driver for our Bulk Warehouse in Middlesbrough.

This role requires you to work 5 days out of 7 which may include weekends and bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
• The movement and storage of furniture, in and out of the warehouse.
• Container work
• Delivering furniture to our stores and warehouses
• Working as part of a team to move and store furniture, in and out of the warehouse.
• Unloading and loading vehicles securely and correctly
• Manual lifting
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
• Correct and safe use of lifting and handling equipment to move furniture
• Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations
• Other reasonable duties within the job holder’s capabilities

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

The role will involve heavy lifting, some nights out and overtime
