Fenwicks - Newcastle
(for Barker and Stonehouse)
The Role:
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, commercially minded, enthusiastic and flexible Salesperson for our Fenwicks Store in Newcastle.
You must be willing to work Monday to Sunday (5 days per week)
Key Responsibilities:
• Selling quality furniture and other household products to our customers
• Providing a first class level of customer service
• Greeting and liaising with customers
• Negotiating prices
• Having an in-depth product knowledge
• Processing orders and agreeing delivery arrangements
• Obtaining and inputting information via computer systems
• Checking stock levels
• Cash handling and banking procedures
Knowledge and Experience:
• Be computer literate and good with figures
• Have a flexible approach regarding work and working hours
• Have the ability to work well as a member of a team and to work using your own initiative
• Have a smart appearance and be well organised with a pleasant manner
• Be comfortable dealing with customers face to face and via telephone
