One of the most important events on the interiors calendar, Maison et Objet took place in Paris last week.
Running from January 20th-24th, Maison et Objet is the biggest show of the year in the interior industry. The show has been described as “among the 3 most important European events for interior design … a huge collection of innovation and talent all in one place.”*
Showcasing an array of cutting-edge brands and furniture suppliers, it sets the scene for the coming months and hints at what we can expect to see in our homes throughout 2017.
Last week, our creative manager flew out to Paris to discover the latest interior trends on show and find inspiration for our new season looks. Here are some of our favourite picks from the event.
Blush Pink & Brass
From fashion to home decor, blush pink was a huge interior trend last season. If you love this look, the good news is that it shows no signs of going anywhere this year.
Combining the sweet and girly hue with rich purple and brass here gives it a brand new look for next season.

Inspired by retro Hollywood glamour and the art deco era, bold lighting and curved sofas create a statement look in these rooms.
The feeling of drama and elegance has been enhanced by the use of sumptuous velvet upholstery, marble prints and faux fur throws, which look great all year round.

We love this modern take on Scandi design, which was everywhere at Maison et Objet. One of our favourite room sets features shades of grey alongside natural influences, including reclaimed wood furniture, woven baskets and greenery.
Contemporary interiors are becoming more and more green in 2017; plants are perfect for adding colour and texture to a room, whether real or fake.
|Myers Sofa||Kubu Basket||Hix Chair||Dante Dining Table|
One of the most eye-catching looks we came across at Maison et Objet was this vibrant room set, featuring a statement blue sofa and unique wall art. Primary colours and pop art influences create a fun and playful look that’s perfect for spring/summer.
|Harrington Sofa||Rolling Stones Print||Velveteen Cushion||New York Print|
