Thinking of updating your interior for the new year? One of the easiest ways to bring a fresh, new look into your home is with the latest colour trend.
According to design and colour experts, 2017 is all about shades of green.
From deep forest to mint and olive, green decor will add a natural, botanical-inspired look to our homes. Pantone recently announced their colour of the year; Greenery, a refreshing and revitalizing shade.
“Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. Illustrative of flourishing foliage and the lushness of the great outdoors, the fortifying attributes of Greenery signals consumers to take a deep breath, oxygenate and reinvigorate.” Pantone
Celebrity interior designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard recently agreed that green is “strong again.” From lime green to emerald, the hue works throughout the home—whether it’s as a wall color or a room-filling rug.
