With flowers blooming, the trees blossoming and birds tweeting, spring is well under way. Whether you have plenty of lawn space or a bijou balcony, after months of being cooped up inside we all want to make the most of the warmer weather.
From lazy weekend brunches to lively dinner parties, one of my favourite aspects of this time of year has to be dining outside. Just as you’d take the time to carefully choose your dining furniture inside your home, we’re firm believers that opting for quality garden furniture is well worth the investment.
The classic Amberley Round Table and Four Chairs is a great choice for larger outdoor spaces. Made from synthetic PU rattan with fabric seat cushions, the Amberley range provides the comfort you want and need when spending a leisurely evening tucking in to a good feast.
With a stylish glass table top, this piece is great for families. We love that it’s so easy to wipe clean after kids with mucky hands – and of course the occasional wine spillage from the adults! When we’re lucky the heat can sometimes get too much, but this set comes complete with a parasol, so you and the family can relax and dine in the cool shade.
If you have a smaller outdoor space such as a balcony, don’t feel as if you have to miss out on the al fresco fun. This Ruscha Round Bistro Table with Two High Back Chairs is great for enjoying a quiet drink while watching a spectacular sunset. Its patterned teal top is fabulous, and gives the table a unique and slightly vintage vibe.
While furniture is obviously crucial, adding a few accessories can make a huge difference in creating ambiance. This Bamboo Lantern produces a gorgeous glow which will make a cosy atmosphere as the evening draws to an end.
Embroidered in a pretty fern leaf pattern in soft shades of teal and green, our Nadine Cushion will inject a summery, fresh and comfortable element to your furniture.
Finally, this contemporary and versatile Extra Large Outdoor Pouffe is a fantastic addition to any patio. For unexpected guests who pop round for a quick glass of wine on warm summer evenings, the pouffe is brilliant to pull out when you’re just short of enough seating.
