Spring is the time to get your home looking tip-top and squeaky clean. With a little tidying and a few new furniture updates, you’ll quickly see what a difference giving your space a spruce can make. For us at Barker and Stonehouse, there’s another ‘spring clean’ that’s fuelling our excitement to revamp and refresh our homes in time for summer – one we’re thrilled to announce our involvement with!

For those of you who haven’t heard, ‘the spring clean’ is a revolutionary pop-up interiors auction taking place on 30 May – 1 June 2014 to raise funds for charitable organisation Kids Company. Curated by award-winning design duo Audrey Carden and Eleanora Cunietti this destination event will bring together some of the UK’s most inspiring British design talents at a savvy location in Shoreditch, London. Amongst celebrities, VIPS and tastemakers set to be present, the event sees luxury items being donated as ‘one-off’ steals in the name of charity; giving shoppers the chance to snap up covetable buys from leading brands at prices impossible to ignore.

We’re proudly donating one of our gorgeous limited edition ‘Quetta’ chairs from our latest Nomad collection. Designed to capture the beauty of vintage finds and colourful hand-crafted charms, this unique seat has been beautifully made by British craftsmen and covered using re-worked vintage Suzani throws that are richly embroidered by hand in Central Asian countries.

Tempted to pop along? This fabulous event is not to be missed! Check out its details below:
