Styling The Rituals Home Fragrance Event

In October, we teamed up with Rituals for the launch of their new home fragrances collection. The Private Collection is designed to enhance your mood, enrich your atmosphere and soothe your mind with three new home scents: Fresh, Rich and Floral.

As the furniture supplier of this exclusive launch, we were excited to help style the Rituals Central London event space. Claire Hornby, Head of Creative at Barker and Stonehouse, designed and curated three luxury rooms sets using our stylish homeware and accessories. Each room was inspired by one of the the new Rituals fragrances.

The Floral Room

The floral room represented Rituals' Floral fragrance collection, based on intense rose notes, combined with fresh watery elements and traditional green tea. This whole floor was turned into an interactive indoor garden with pastel tones, floral patterns and fresh flowers.

The floral room was host to a VIP press breakfast, so two Beatrix Dining Tables acted as a centrepiece to the space. Vases of fresh flowers decorated the table while seating was provided by a mix of Tantella and Timothy Oulton Mimi Dining Chairs in pretty shades of pink and blue.

An immersive floral garden added wow-factor to this room and provided the perfect photo opportunity on our Arundel Occasional Chair.

The Fresh Room

Designed around Rituals' Fresh collection, a crisp and lively fragrance, inspired by the green notes of vetiver and zesty lemon, this room was decorated in shades of soft white and silver with a fresh and airy feel.

Guests were invited to take part in a face pillow making workshop in this space, using fragrances such as crushed cardamom, amber, oriental velvetier and savage garden to create their own Fresh-scented pillows.

Furniture was kept simple in this minimalist space, with a sleek chrome and marble Valli Dining Table and white Gustave Chairs. Simple gold and white lighting added a chic finishing touch.

The Rich Room

This lounge space was styled on Rituals’ Rich fragrance, a combination of oud, rich spices and powdery patchouli. A deep colour palette and sumptuous velvet fabrics created a relaxing space. Here, guests were invited to unwind and have their auras read in the event’s aura booth.

Head of Creative Claire Hornby styled this room using statement velvet chairs including the Fairmont Chair and Melina Chair to create a sociable seating space. Deep blue walls set the backdrop for eye-catching wall art and a vibrant green and yellow colour palette while marble and gold side tables add a fabulous finishing touch.
