We all know how important it is to look after our mental and physical health. There are several steps you can take to set yourself up for a more mindful and positive day, from looking after your body, to making sure your personal space inspires you to feel good.

What does wellness mean to you?

Wellness for me means tending to yourself on all levels: emotionally, physically and mentally. It's being deliberate about your lifestyle choices so that you can show up and be the best version of yourself.

How does yoga help with mental health and well-being?

Yoga really helps to unite the body, mind and breath. It gives you an opportunity to let go of the outside world and come into your inner world.

Do you have any tips for creating a calming space?

I love bringing the natural world inside. I like having lots of wood in the house and plants in every room which give out oxygen. I also look for natural aromas for my home, like vetiver and lavender.

What's your favourite way to unwind at home?

My favourite way to unwind is with a very indulgent warm bath filled with candles and bath salts. I also love reading to relax.
