We are clearing more than £1 million worth of stock from our current premises in Middlesbrough to prepare for our relocation to Teesside Park.
From Saturday February 28th customers will be able to purchase furniture and accessories at hugely discounted prices from the Cannon Park store.
Some products will be reduced by up to 80% in order to clear all showroom stock before the move – even some fixtures and fittings will be priced to go.
Barker and Stonehouse managing director James Barker said: “There is no other time that the products in our showrooms are discounted as heavily as they are during relocation sales.
“Similar events have seen people starting to queue outside from the early hours to make sure they get the best items. We expect no different this weekend.”
The firm’s new £4.5 million store and head office in Stockton will open its doors to the public on March 28th
Baking legend Mary Berry will attend to officially open the store, where customers will have the opportunity to attend Q&A sessions with the star and win prizes throughout the day.
Situated at the entrance to Teesside Retail Park, the flagship building features an in-store café, two floors of retail space spread over 48,270sqft and a large car park for nearly 100 cars.
James added: “The site provides an excellent location for our new store, allowing us to raise the bar and design a top quality, uniquely inspiring environment that customers will really enjoy visiting.”
