It’s only the first month of the New Year but already our industry is picking up the pace, with three of the biggest events on the interiors calendar taking place in January.

The first show of the season is Home, which brings together over 250 of the very best modern and classic brands from around the world.  This is shortly followed by the UK’s largest trade interiors exhibition, Interiors UK, which is being held from 19 – 22 January at NEC Birmingham.

This event offers a unique opportunity for retailers, interior designers, architects and contractors to compare an array of inspiring interiors products from more than 600 exhibitors

Exhibitors include brands, like those stocked at Barker and Stonehouse such as Ercol, international trend-setters, leading furniture manufacturers and up-and-coming new designers.

As Interiors UK covers everything from furniture to lighting, soft furnishings to accessories, it provides a great opportunity for us to source new products from a range of exciting suppliers and is a must-do on our interiors agenda every year.

Shortly after we’ll be jumping on a plane to Paris to visit Maison & Objet, the global event destination for the interior design industry.

It’s a chance for us to view emerging trends from over 3,000 brands around the world, displayed across 130,000 m2 of stands and, yes, we know what you’re thinking – there’s a lot of walking involved!

Every year 85,000 visitors flock to the French capital to attend the five day exhibition which presents a cutting-edge platform that is in line with the developments in the market.

We’re so excited to see what the shows have in store and will be bringing you the highlights over the next few weeks so watch this space!
