The wins just keep on coming for ‘Team B&S’ with the Barker and Stonehouse website being voted the best for online shopping in the world.

The site – – was voted Best Online Store in the WebAssist 2012 awards, organised by the California-based software giant for entrants from across the globe.

The Barker and Stonehouse site features the latest furnishings, customer reviews and design tips, and customers can order directly through it then track their order. The site also includes a busy customer community, with constantly-updated news, views, top tips and competitions.

The website was built by designer Paul Suggitt using Super Suite software, and is featured in a special spotlight slot on WebAssist’s own home page. Barker and Stonehouse also have hugely-popular Facebook and Pinterest social networking sites.

Barker and Stonehouse Managing Director James Barker said he was delighted that the company’s site had won such a prestigious accolade.
