Earlier this summer we launched a competition for our customers and fans to design their own unique cushion covers. After much deliberation (mainly because the entries were so incredible!) we picked Emma Cochrane as our winner. Emma’s design – a futuristic geometric print with splashes of blue and yellow – really caught our eye and she’s now the lucky winner of £500 worth of Barker and Stonehouse gift vouchers.
We caught up with Emma to tell her the great news and she had this to say: “I really enjoyed creating this design! I adore neutral colours with pops of brighter colour and the powerful simplicity of geometrics. The colour palette and geometric style I chose is on trend and I thought fitted in well with the current Barker and Stonehouse ranges. Additionally, it goes with the colour scheme of my living room – I thought it would look great on my sofa! I decided that I wanted the cushion to be unisex and feature a design and colour palette attractive to both males and females. I hand drew the design before digitising it and was inspired by some graphic graffiti work I had seen.”
