Square Roots


Square Roots is the result of two British chaps passionate about handmade sustainable solid wood furniture. Edward Stoddart brings a deep understanding of wood and a questing eccentric eye for design, while Justin Wheatcroft brings a forrester's soul and a mathematician's mind to every aspect of shape and form.

We love the durability, quality and natural texture of the oak we’ve sourced from the forests of Burgundy in France. Famous for its use in wine barrels, Burgundian oak has been cultivated by the people of that region for hundreds of years, and meets the highest European quality and sustainability standards.”
