The wardrobe is solid wood and very sturdy, looks lovely in room. It was fairly easy to assemble except the doors need to be dropped onto hinges attached to the robe sides. This worked fine for one door, once lined up, but the top hinge on the other door was slightly out and when we pushed the door down onto the hinges one of the pins on a hinge snapped. We assumed it was just a case of getting a replacement hinge however the robe is now discontinued (shortly after purchasing ours) and apparently the manufacturer has no spare supplies. Very disappointed that one door has 2 and a half hinges instead of three!
