HOW SOON CAN YOU DELIVER?

Furniture

Once all items from your order online are in stock, our web sales team will call you to arrange a convenient delivery date. It usually takes around 2 weeks for delivery of furniture.

If you have provided your mobile number then we’ll send you a text message with a 2 hour time window (North East and Midlands only). Our drivers will also call 1 hour before arrival to make you aware they are on their way.

We employ our own in-house highly experienced delivery team. They’re a friendly bunch who have been trained to exacting standards to make sure that your delivery day is pleasurable and stress-free.

They will place the furniture in your chosen room and remove all packaging (unless delivered self assembly)

Accessories

There is usually a 3 working day wait for delivery of rugs and accessories purchased online.

Rugs will be delivered to you by Parcelforce, accessories will be delivered by DPD. Both of our delivery partners require a signature.

HOW DO I FIND OUT IF AN ITEM IS IN STOCK?

You will see an availability section on the product page for each item on our website.

Should an ‘anticipated stock arriving’ date display, this refers to the date in which the item online will be delivered to our warehouse. Once our warehouse receives this product, it is classed as ‘in stock’ and will be sent on its way to you.

WHAT IF THE FURNITURE DOESN'T FIT ON DELIVERY?

Our team are adept at delivering furniture to homes of all shapes and sizes but it is your responsibility to advise us at the time of ordering your item online if we are likely to encounter difficulties when delivering to your property. Please pop this information into the comments box at the checkout when ordering on the website. Safe access to your room of choice must also be considered as well as ensuring the route is clear.

Please note: any costs incurred affecting delivery will not be the responsibility of Barker and Stonehouse (i.e. door or window removal etc). Barker and Stonehouse are only responsible for delivery to your front door.

WHAT IF IT HAS BEEN LONGER THAN THE ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME?

We’d like to apologise, we work hard to deliver all purchases as quickly as possible. The delivery times we provide are approximate and are given in good faith.

If you’ve been waiting longer for your online order than expected, please give our web sales team a call on 0333 355 9359. They’ll be more than happy to help and provide you with an update.

Please note: we can’t be held responsible for any direct or indirect loss due delays from unforeseen circumstances, outside of our control.

DO YOU DELIVER OUTSIDE OF MAINLAND UK?

We don't but we can deliver to any UK mainland shipping port for £49, provided your own shipping is arranged from there onwards.

WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY OLD FURNITURE?

We’ve partnered up with the British Heart Foundation to donate any unwanted, reusable furniture to their stores. For a small fee, we’ll gladly take away your old furniture when delivering your lovely new purchase(s). Click here for more information.
