Visual Merchandiser

Teesside Store

The Role:
Are you a creative and ambitious Visual Merchandiser? This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading independent retails where you will create engaging, exciting and immersive in-store displays.

This role requires you to work 5 days out of 7 which may include weekends and bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Display Manager, you will put together showroom displays that follow creative trend guides and look sheets
• You will interpret the brief into eye-catching displays that dramatize the brand in-store and capture our customer’s imagination
• Occasionally, you will be required to visit other branches of the company and work on exciting projects such as store openings, exhibitions and photo-shoots
• This is a hands-on role that involves pitching and dismantling displays, moving furniture and the use of ladders
• You will need to maintain stock levels of the accessories shown on the display together with keeping ticketing and point of sale materials up to date


Knowledge and Experience:
• You must be a self-motivated and passionate retail professional with an eye for home interiors
• You must have Visual Merchandiser experience
• You must be a good communicator who can express their ideas and requirements
• You must be creative and energetic, you will deliver displays that stop customers in their tracks
• You must have a good appreciation of what it takes to make the sale
• You must be a self-starter who will be able to take your cue from the Display Manager and run with it
